Airport Transfer
Getting to the Spanish school in Lima is
easy. You can either request an airport pickup from the Spanish
language school, or you can use one of official taxis or shuttle
services that run from the airport. You will pay about $20
for a taxi and $10 for a shuttle. Note: Prices
can and do change.
We DO NOT recommend walking
to the nearest main street to get an independent taxi. Stick
to the official taxis at the airport.
Getting Around Lima / Miraflores
Traveling around Lima / Miraflores is simple.
You will find an abundance of cheap public transportation
options. The main options are buses, taxis or mini-buses.
Lima has 3 different types of official taxis
available.
* Radio taxi companies
* Black limo taxis. Found at the airport and at larger hotels
* Yellow taxis (authorized by the city)
You will also see unofficial taxis. It is
strongly advised NO TO USE these taxis. Your
safety may be at risk.
Taxis do not have fare meters. This means
you will need to negotiate a price. You should do this prior
to getting into the taxi.

Lima or getting to other destinations in Peru, check with
