CUSCO LOCATION:

The Spanish language school is centrally located with Cusco, close to all necessary services plus all the major sites of interest. By walking all the vast majority of places to go to in Cusco are within 10-15 minutes.

SPANISH SCHOOL FACILITIES:

The Spanish language school is located just off of Avenida El Sol. The building is perfectly suited for Spanish classes and currently has 16 classrooms, a break room, a patio, and an audio-video room (along with some computers).

Student Capacity: 50-60 Spanish students.

SPANISH SCHOO ATMOSPHERE:

Spanish students attending this school primarily come from North America & Europe. Overall it is a very diverse mix of nationalities.
Age Range: Student ages range from university students all the way up to retired individuals.

CHILDREN:

Minimum age: 18 if traveling alone. If traveling with an adult the minimum age is 12.

Children's programs: Programs for children are in a private class setting. The program will make use of TV, children's books, games, audio cassettes and more, in order to keep the learning process fun.

Child care: It is possible to arrange child care. Typically the host mother will provide the service.

WEATHER IN CUSCO:

Typical night time temperature throughout the year ranges from the 30's to 40's. Please note that homes do not have central heating. During the days you can expect temperatures to range from the 60's to the 70's.

Rainy season runs from October to April.

ORGANIZED ACTIVITIES:

The Spanish language school will provide 2-3 organized activities or trips per week. Almost all activities will be included in the cost of the program. Note: Student just pays for own transportation, entrance fee, etc . Weekend excursions will have a cost associated with them.

E-MAIL ACCESS:

Not offered at school. Cusco is home to many different internet cafes. Many are located right around the corner from the school The cost is very cheap.

AIRPORT PICK-UP:

Cusco pick-up is included. Your host family will pick you up from the airport. If there is a complication in meeting a student at the airport, or if the student does not want the pick-up, they should take a taxi directly to their homestay.
