AMAUTA is a great Spanish language school located just minutes away (walking) from the Plaza de Armas. The Spanish language school is housed in a beautiful Spanish colonial style building ideally suited for Spanish language students.

Right next to the Spanish language school students have the option of staying in the Spanish student residence. The facilities are basic but comfortable and convenient. Housing with local Peruvian host families are just a short distance away.

The Spanish language school currently operates centers in three different locations: the Spanish colonial city of Cusco, a small village known as Urubamba which is situated in the Sacred Valley, and an excursion program in the Manu Rainforest. Most Spanish students will study only in Cusco. However it is a nice option to have the chance to study in other locations.

Spanish Language Programs Offered

Standard Spanish Language Program: With this option our Spanish students will take for lessons of Spanish per day (Mon-Fri). Each class has a maximum number of 6 Spanish language students.

Other Spanish Language Program Options

Private Spanish Language Classes: Some Spanish students need a specialized Spanish program or simply prefer an intensive Spanish language program. This Spanish course can be tailored to fit your specific goals as it relates to learning Spanish. These Spanish courses can be arranged for either 4 or 6 classes each day.

Manu Rainforest Spanish Program: If you get tired of studying Spanish in Cusco, Peru then you may consider taking an adventure Spanish language course in the Manu Rainforest. You will take Spanish classes during certain times of the day, and the rest of the day will be spent on guided tours through this amazing rainforest area. The amount of plant and animal species is absolutely amazing!

Spanish Courses In Urubamba: Just outside of Cusco lies the spectacular Sacred Valley of the Inca. In the heart of this valley lies the small village of Urubamba. Take classes in this area and then outside of class you will get a feel for the rural side of the Peruvian Andes. There are also many different activities held outside of class.
